This week we are featuring: The Fly in the Buttermilk: the history, perceptions and principles of black Greek Lettered Organizations at Ole Miss Film, was produced by Ashley FG Norwood during her time as a graduate student at Ole Miss. The story shows the history and perceptions of black Greek organization on the predominantly white campus. Screened and shared across the country since. Ashley is from Jackson, MS, where she graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in spring 2016 with a Masters in Journalism. Currently, she's Journalism Professor at her Alma mater, Jackson State University, Producer of radio news at Mississippi Public Broadcasting and the owner of FG Media Productions, LLC. She's also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. attended and pledged at Jackson State University received her bachelors in English in 2014 and pledged spring 2012.
